A Black Vehicle Parked

The 2026 Ford Bronco rolls in with some changes that solidify its spot as a top pick for trail lovers and weekend warriors. The new model brings meaningful improvements to this rugged SUV while keeping the tough, capable spirit that made the Ford Bronco name legendary in the first place.

What’s Changed for the 2026 Ford Bronco

While the new model has kept most of the same features for 2026, you’ll see a few notable differences. To celebrate the Bronco’s 60th birthday, Ford has released a special red and white 60th Anniversary Edition. This package also includes unique 60th badging and logos to match the theme. This visual update makes the 2026 model stand out on the road without losing that classic Bronco character.

On all trims, the SYNC 5 system now comes standard, with faster processing, wireless connections, and over-air updates to keep things current. Plus, every model now comes with A-pillar grab handles, first seen on the 60th Anniversary Package. Some models got shuffled around too. The Stroppe Edition switched from two-door only to four-door only.

2026 Ford Bronco Release Date and Availability

If you want to order one, you can start picking colors, packages, and options right now. Jumping in early usually means better color selection and quicker delivery when trucks start rolling off the line. At John Kennedy Ford Feasterville, we offer a wide selection of Broncos with options ranging from trail-ready packages to comfort extras that make daily driving around Pennsylvania more pleasant.

2026 Ford Bronco Pricing Updates

Prices didn’t change much this year, with small increases across most models. The Base now starts at $40,495, up $500 from last year’s $39,995. The Big Bend goes up slightly to $40,995 from $40,845. Midrange options include the Outer Banks at $48,090 — previously $47,940 — and the Badlands, actually dropping to $48,890 from $49,585. The Heritage Edition will set you back $51,625, a tiny $150 increase.

If you’re eyeing the Stroppe Edition, it’s actually cheaper this year. This high-performance Bronco costs nearly $6,000 less, now $69,995, down from $75,635 last year. The top-tier 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor stays the same at $79,995. These adjustments mean good value across the board, with some models actually becoming more affordable.

Each price level gives you solid bang for your buck with standard gear and options you can mix and match to fit your needs. From basic trail-ready models to fully-loaded beasts, you’ll find something that fits your budget in the new Bronco lineup without breaking the bank.

New Colors and Exterior Updates

Some familiar paints — Eruption Green Metallic, Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, and Robin’s Egg Blue — are all gone, but you’ve still got plenty of choices to match your style. In their place, Wimbledon White for the 60th Anniversary Package and Avalanche join the color chart.

On four-door Badlands models, you can now mix body colors with different roof colors for a total of 37 possible combinations. If you want a blue body with a black roof or maybe tan with a body-colored top, you can make the Bronco truly yours, standing out both on Feasterville trails and in parking lots. The Heritage Edition adds Marsh Gray and Oxford White to its color options, too.

Beyond just paint, there are other exterior tweaks. Though they look pretty much the same, the wheels on Sasquatch Package Broncos are now called Matte Black Alloy instead of Carbonized Gray Alloy.

2026 Ford Bronco Interior Updates

Inside, the biggest upgrade is the new SYNC 5 system that’s about twice as fast as the old SYNC 4, thanks to a beefier processor. It works with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can ditch the cables. The 12-inch screen responds faster and can get updates wirelessly to add new features in the future.

Those new A-pillar grab handles might seem small, but they make a big difference when climbing in and out of the Bronco. These will help after a day on muddy trails when boots and hands aren’t exactly clean. It’s a simple addition that makes sense for a vehicle built for adventure.

Not all changes are additions, though. Rear carpet floor mats are gone from Outer Banks and Badlands trims, and you can’t get the universal garage door opener anymore. Despite these small losses, the cabin still focuses on the toughness and practicality that Bronco fans expect. Better materials and sound dampening make everyday drives more comfortable, whether you’re commuting or heading to the campsite.

Performance and Mechanical Updates

Both engines got tweaks for better response and efficiency. The 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost still pumps out 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Upgrade to the 2.7-liter V-6, and you’ll get 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Ford adjusted both engines to feel more responsive and sip less fuel.

Badlands models get a revised Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, or G.O.A.T., Modes system with Normal, ECO, Slippery, Off-Road, Sport, Rock-Crawl, and Baja. This replaces the old Mud/Ruts and Sand settings and adds Sport mode for better on-road fun. Heritage Edition buyers can now pair the 10-speed automatic transmission with the smaller 2.3-liter engine instead of being forced into the 2.7-liter. Towing stays at 3,500 pounds, which is enough for most small trailers and boats.

The famous Sasquatch Package keeps its crown for off-road capability with massive 35-inch mud tires, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, and lifted suspension with Bilstein shocks. This gives you 11.6 inches of ground clearance with approach angles of 43.2 degrees and departure angles of 37.2 degrees. You’ll appreciate these upgrades when the trail gets rough.
